This one makes more sense than the above equation:

Manto Test. This test is used to distinguish between primary, secondary and tertiary Devils. Elden reagent is a mixture of mantonium chloride, MaCl2, in concentrated HCl

If it head-butt you, its primary Devil type
If it snarls at you, its secondary Devil type
If it smears his nose shit all over the small glass window in the door, its tertiary Devil type.
If it posses all three characteristics, you dont want to sit beside him.
